We recommend that you check in when you arrive at the hotel to ensure that you are charged properly for your stay. You might get an email directly from the Salamander suggesting you check in electronically, please do not.
Please check in at the Salamander front desk and provide your credit card. You will need to provide your credit card to take advantage of the hotel amenities and for incidentals. You will only be charged if you have authorized charges.

Registration Desk
The ATMRD registration desk is located in the Lower Level Foyer. From the main lobby, take the escalators down 1 level.

COVID-19 Rules and Regulations
ATMRD is adhering to current Washington, DC guidelines. Masks are optional but not required.

Air/Ground Transportation & Parking
The Salamander does not provide hotel/airport shuttle service. Transportation to/from the airport can be secured via
Metro (8-minute walk from closest stop)
Uber/Lyft/Taxi
The Salamander has valet-only parking available at $71/day for overnight guests.
Local parking close to the Salamander begins at $35 per day.

Hotel Amenities and Fees
Hotel will require credit card to access amenities, and to cover room and tax, porterage gratuities, and service charges.
Room rate covers single- or double-occupancy.
Additional guests (up to four maximum) over the age of 18 are $50/night per person.
Rollaway beds can be secured upon request, if available, for $50/night each.
There is a porterage charge of $5 per person per room, in and out for luggage/parcels handled by staff as well as a charge of $5 per box moved by staff to/from front or guest room.
The Spa at the Salamander is available to group attendees – advance appointments are recommended (202-787-6100).
Check-in is 3:00pm, Check-out is Noon – Early or late Check-in/out will be honored based on availability.
